Who we are
Marco believed it first. When he reached the age of 18 he thought that his dream project, that of a winery in which to produce the great red wines of Montalcino, could become a reality.
His sister Lucia soon joined him.
So, today, 18 years after that 2001 which represents the year zero for Lazzeretti’s wines, we are divided between the cellar and a renowned wine cellar in the heart of Montalcino.
They are the soul of the company, who personally take care of all the processing phases and the management of the shop in the center. The vineyards grow along the slopes of the Val d’Orcia, in those lands that once belonged to their grandfather; it is just below that land that years ago was found the old key, now jealously guarded as a lucky charm from the cellar and a stylized symbol of the Lazzeretti’s brand.

Our cellar
A hospitable tasting room, with aging wood framing , there is also an ancient fountain among the barrels. Outside, on one side the vineyards of Sangiovese and from the other Montalcino that imperiously dominates all the panorama. Tasting at the winery of Lazzeretti is a blast from the past, able to discover the authentic flavor of Brunello.

After the visit to the cellar, there are all the convenience of buying from the family wine shop.
A relaxed atmosphere where Lucia welcomes her customers, telling of all the work behind each bottle, of all the processing stages, of all the effort and satisfaction that only a true winemaker knows.
Our Wines
Rosso di Montalcino
Young wine, pleasant but nervous.
Of an intense ruby color wine with violet reflections, pleasant and youthful with floral and red fruit notes, permeated by vegetal notes.
Taste: good body, fresh, tannic
Brunello di Montalcino
Important and elegant.
Garnet color with ruby reflections, rich and varied bouquet. Ripe fruit with flavors of licorice, leather, earth and Mediterranean scrub.
Tannins of great extraction.
Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Emotional, persuasive, intriguing.
Garnet color, very complex and elegant wine, fruity, notes of spices, leather, cocoa. Taste of great structure, warm, soft and harmonious, very persistent, tannins and acidity in perfect balance.
Grappa di Brunello
